20 girls, 4 boys and 3 teachers are en route to Paris as we speak. The excitement level was wonderful. And Joe High School didn't want me to hang around at the airport. So, even though the plane was not leaving for two hours, I left. He gave me a perfunctory kiss and kept his cool, something that is difficult to do when you are beside yourself with anticipation.Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport, 3/29/08. 20 girls, 4 boys. An enviable ratio, but if Joe High School is anything like OLGS, he will return empty handed.
Well, there are always the French girls. And on his return there will be no no need to be so cool and he will be overflowing with anecdotes to entertain his parents.
